About us

Our Story

Head Global was founded on a simple belief: talent decisions shape everything. A decade ago, halfway through my Executive MBA at Duke, while I continued to work full-time, I saw something I couldn’t unsee: Across sectors and geographies, organizations were struggling to navigate complex talent challenges. There was no shortage of ambition, but there was a gap between strategy and execution. Companies were either overextending themselves, hiring reactively, or relying on transactional recruitment models that did not serve them well.

I believed there was a better way.

Before graduating, I launched Head Global with an entrepreneurial focus and a commitment to adaptability. I started slowly and intentionally, delivering nearly 80 percent of our services myself in the early years so I could deeply understand what clients truly needed. Those early days shaped our model: high touch, strategic, flexible, and grounded in real partnership.

Two years in, I made my first full-time hire, and I did so carefully. Kathryn joined to lead our growing consultant network and ensure we built a bench defined by quality and trust. Soon after, Yaniv came on board to lead client-facing talent services. Yaniv and I had worked together nearly two decades earlier, and bringing him into Head Global felt less like hiring and more like building something with someone who shared the same long-term vision.

Since then, the three of us have worked side by side, bringing intention to how we build our company and how we serve our clients. We invest in in-person retreats. We create space for reflection. We hold each other accountable. The way we treat each other spills directly into how we treat the organizations and professionals we support.

Between 2020 and 2024, we doubled revenue year over year for four consecutive years. We grew quickly, but never recklessly. We measured success not only in growth, but in the quality of our client service and the strength of our relationships. We kept a small footprint on purpose, practicing what we preach about resilience, disciplined growth, and thoughtful talent management.

In 2025, we expanded our services to individuals, launching a full suite of career services. In that year alone, we supported more than 2,000 professionals through pivotal career moments. We bring the same philosophy to individuals that we bring to organizations: thoughtful growth, strategic clarity, and human-centered decision-making.

Today, Head Global offers a full continuum of talent acquisition and career services. We help organizations scale without stress. We help professionals move forward with confidence. And we do so with the same care and discipline that shaped our beginnings.

Our Values

Above all else, we value honesty and kindness. Every decision we make is filtered through two questions:

  1. What is the most honest thing to do in this situation?

  2. How can we approach it with enough kindness that we would feel proud explaining our decision to our children?

We work with joy and meaning. We believe business can be both disciplined and deeply human. We believe that how you treat people matters just as much as the outcome you achieve.

Our Team

Head Global is built around a small team that works closely, thinks differently, and genuinely enjoys the work we do together. Daniel, Yaniv, and Kathryn collaborate constantly, often texting throughout the day about both client challenges and everyday life. Each of us approaches talent questions from a different angle. Daniel tends to frame the big picture, helping organizations think through long-term hiring strategy and team design. Yaniv brings bold ideas and deep empathy for candidates, ensuring that every person we recruit or coach feels heard and valued. Kathryn anchors the work with operational precision, keeping searches, candidate pipelines, and career programs running smoothly. Even our personalities reflect where we come from: a bit of Southern charm from Daniel, Southern California candor from Yaniv, and Central New York directness from Kathryn.

Clients often tell us the same thing: working with our team feels different. We take our work seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Whether we are advising an executive on a critical hire, coaching a professional through a pivotal career moment, or helping an organization rethink its entire talent strategy, we show up as real people who genuinely care. We ask thoughtful questions, reframe challenges into solutions, and try to make every interaction feel encouraging and human. We invest in our own relationships the same way we encourage our clients to invest in theirs, through retreats, conversations about values and trust, and the occasional moment of humor along the way. At the end of the day, what clients get when they work with Head Global is more than recruitment expertise or career guidance. They get a team that believes in people, champions their growth, and treats every partnership with honesty, kindness, and genuine care.

Daniel Head

Founder and CEO

I’m a talent acquisition and recruitment advisor who has spent more than 20 years helping purpose-driven and global organizations solve complex hiring challenges and build strong, people-centered teams. Much of my work focuses on executive and senior-level recruitment, helping leaders navigate difficult hiring decisions and design teams that can grow with clarity and confidence.

Over the course of my career, I’ve led recruitment efforts across more than 26 countries and have personally conducted more than 4,000 one-on-one candidate interviews. I’ve supported organizations in hiring executives, senior leaders, and specialized professionals in roles that are often difficult to define, time-sensitive, or mission critical. I’ve also designed and delivered talent acquisition training programs for more than a dozen organizations, training hundreds of professionals on recruitment strategy, interviewing techniques, and building stronger talent pipelines.

Alongside my work with organizations, I care deeply about supporting professionals navigating pivotal career moments. Through coaching and career services, I work with individuals who are preparing for interviews, exploring new directions, or trying to reconnect with meaning and momentum in their work.

Outside of work, I live in North Carolina with my husband, our twins, and our very large Great Dane. I’m a marathon runner and Ironman triathlete, an enthusiastic baker, and currently trying to learn how to relax a little more while working my way through a steady stack of memoirs.
