Daniel Head

Founder and CEO

Daniel Head is seasoned business development and recruitment specialist with 14 years’ experience recruiting staff worldwide for USAID, USDA, MCC, and DoS partner organizations. He is a confident and competent entrepreneur in the international development industry, with strong reputation for high quality and timely service.

He offers proven capability to conduct successful business development efforts in a wide range of countries and technical sectors, including conducting international recruitment efforts in 26 countries worldwide in the sectors of agricultural development, clean energy, climate change, democracy & governance, economic growth, education, natural resource management, and water & sanitation. Daniel’s specialties include proposal strategy and review, international recruitment, and management of complex and large international proposal efforts.

Yaniv Snir

Yaniv Snir is a strategy, process, recruitment, and innovation specialist with 20 years’ experience driving business development in the public and private sectors, including advising on bidding strategy, opportunity capture, proposal management, and recruitment in Africa, Eastern Europe, and Asia. His passion for recruitment shines through his extensive experience in assembling top-performing teams for local and international programs, as well as executive and corporate positions. Besides his international work, Yaniv has designed multi-million-dollar crowdsourcing challenges for XPRIZE and HeroX, and has advised consumer brands like Facebook, Wells Fargo, lululemon, American Express, and Google on strategy, sales, and customer service.

Kathryn Zongrone

Director of Consultant Success

Kathryn Karl is a proposal development, recruitment and program management professional with a decade of experience working in the international development industry.  Kathryn has worked on every stage of proposal development, from capture through submission. She has led and supported efforts in program design, writing, recruitment, partnering, budgeting and formatting/submission prep for clients pursuing funding from various sources including USAID, USDA, MCC, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. She has extensive experience leading recruitment efforts for positions including home-office staff, international COPs and local hires across Latin America/Caribbean, Africa, Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia. As a Program Development Officer in Washington DC, Kathryn was part of a small team that successfully developed agricultural development proposals for 15 programs on 3 continents, adding over $75 million to the company's portfolio. As a Program Development Representative in Ethiopia, she was the lead writer and designer for $4 million in new programming, some of which she went on manage.

During her first three years with Head Global, Kathryn served as the Director of Proposal Services where she directly supported and/or managed the provision of full-cycle proposal services for clients. In her current role as Director of Consultant Success, Kathryn's focus is on ensuring that Head Global has consistent access to talented consultants, that consultants are matched with the assignments that interest them the most and that consultants are set up for success, no matter the client or scope of work. Professionally, Kathryn's personal strengths include multitasking, working under tight deadlines, maintaining a positive work ethic and attitude and collaborating with local staff, home office staff and senior management.

Mary McCabe

Director of Client Success

Mary McCabe is a seasoned program management, business development and training professional. She has over 15 years of experience in the international developing industry, including developing responsive proposals for and implementing USAID-funded programs.

She is deeply familiar with USG rules and regulations and working with clients to ensure successful proposal development and program implementation across a variety of technical sectors and regions. She also offers a proven capability to conduct successful recruitment efforts across the globe. Additionally, Mary supports clients by designing, developing, and facilitating course content for new business and program management trainings.

Rachel Storey

Director of Operations and Client Services

Rachel Storey is an international development professional with 10 years of experience managing complex programs, facilitating ambitious business development efforts, and building systems that improve operational efficiency. She has worked with diverse organizations across the industry to win new programs and achieve results through effective management in agriculture and resilience, crisis relief, health and nutrition, WASH, and MERL.

Rachel brings broad and extensive proposal development, management, and recruitment experience, with demonstrated success leading efforts across Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, MENA, and Europe. Rachel’s professional strengths include process improvement, budget development and execution, operational planning and management, and contracts/procurement oversight.
